Opie is a 9 year old tri-color, neutered male basset hound who was surrendered by his owners due to his alpha behaviors with their older basset -- and because they now have a crawling 6 mo old baby. Opie is a teddy bear with people; he loves to be cuddled, will let you pet him anywhere and he loves to be kissed on his head and nose. Although Opie is a senior dog, he is very spry for his age, can easily do the belly up for a rub routine, does okay with stairs, and loves to run and play in the yard. He’s done very well with my 3 female basset hounds.
Opie is up to date on his vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He’s ready to go to his forever home NOW. Do you have it in your heart to give this sweet guy another chance at a permanent forever home? As you can see from his picture, he has a face that will melt your heart!!
