1. Foster Person agrees to give rescue dog food & water, indoor shelter, administer medication as needed (including flea and heartworm treatment) and provide kind and loving care for a limited period of time. Foster Person also agrees to notify OMBR immediately if the dog escapes.

2. Foster Person understands that OMBR has no prior knowledge of the dog’s temperament and will take due care to protect anyone who may come in contact with the dog from harm.

3. Foster Person will not seek to hold OMBR responsible for damage to persons, property, or injury to other animals.

4. OMBR will be financially responsible for any veterinary care it deems necessary for the fostered dog at a veterinarian of OMBR’s choice, if prior approval has been received from OMBR and if Foster Person’s neglect or misconduct did not cause the needed care.

5. Foster Person agrees that any dog fostered by him/her remains the property of OMBR and that Foster Person will not relocate the dog from the primary residence of Foster Person or dispose of it in any manner without prior notice and approval of OMBR.

6. Foster Person will return the dog to OMBR upon request.

7. If Foster Person desires to adopt the dog within 30 days, and OMBR agrees that this adoption is appropriate, Foster Person agrees to complete and sign the Adoption Agreement. Said forms and a contribution of OMBR’s current adoption fee are to be mailed to OMBR’s current address unless other arrangements have been agreed to.

8. Foster Person agrees to bring the dog to at least one adoption event per month once the dog is healthy and adoptable.
