Jake

Mattie

Jake and Mattie

Jake and Mattie are 2 year old litter mates who were rescued from a shelter in Oklahoma. They have a wonderful success story to tell, and you can read it by clicking on either of their pictures.

Jake and Mattie are very bonded and dependent on one another so they will be adopted together. They are the sweetest hounds you can imagine and very affectionate cuddlers. There isn't an aggressive bone in their bodies, either. They are completely house trained and even mind well! They get along very well with the other dogs in their foster home and don't mind cats, either!. If you are that perfect home they need, please contact Sherry at 918-336-0808 or by email at sherry@ombr.org for more information.

Jake and Mattie's adoption fee will be $250.

Opie

Opie is a wonderful senior boy, about 9 years old. He's living in a foster home in the DFW area, but if you adopt him, we can help get him to his new home.

For more information, please see his story here: http://www.ombr.org/opie.htm

Washer

Adopted!

Washer is 18 months old and after a rough start, he's become a very happy, affectionate little guy with more personality than should be legal! He tends to be cautious at first, but once he gets to know you, he will be your best friend. He's been neutered, vaccinated, and is ready for his new forever home. Washer is great with other dogs, and thinks cats are fun to chase.

Washer would like to find a patient, kind, family, with another dog for a buddy, preferably with older children as he will do better in a calmer environment. He is doing great in his foster home, enjoys belly rubs like any good basset, enjoys a good cuddle, and loves to play more than anything! And one more thing - he loves toys! He is potty trained to a doggy door. For more information about him, email sherry@ombr.org, or call Floyd or Sherry at 918-336-0808.

Washer's adoption fee will be $150.

Brutus

From Brutus's Foster Mom:

I think Brutis is closer to 7 years old and he weighs 60 pounds.  He really doesn't want to play with the other dogs.  If they try and play with him he lets out a big growl and they seem to understand it means leave me alone.  He is very much a couch potato but he loves being cuddled and being with you.

Brutus is a red and white, he's a long bassett, he has also been neutered and is up to date on his shots. For more information about Brutus, please contact Connie, at: connie@ombr.org or call 479-657-6836.

Brutus' adoption donation is $100.

Luke

Adoption Pending!

Meet Luke. He's a beautiful boy, found strayed close to the Oklahoma border. He is friendly, lovable, gets along great with dogs and cats, and is an all around great guy. Did we mention how handsome he is?

Luke has a limp right now. Our vet found a pellet in his knee and he will have to have surgery to remove it when he gains some weight. He'll be neutered at the same time. He's up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and an otherwise healthy boy. If you would like to know more about him, please contact Sherry at sherry@ombr.org or call 918-336-0808.

Luke's adoption donation is 150.

Roger Bob

Roger Bob is the sweetest little man ever! The vet seems to think he's a senior (8 or older) but we're not sure because he certainly doesn't act or look like it. He is very submissive, has had no accidents in the house, not quite crate trained just yet, very playful and loves to be RIGHT where ever you are! He will follow you to every single room just to be near you. His foster mom noticed a lump on his neck, and fearing the worst, she took him to the vet. Imagine her suprise to find out he was carrying a .22 bullet in his neck! Even in spite of having been shot, Roger still loves people and will be a wonderful family boy.

Roger gets along with all the other dogs in the house, he isnt for sure if he likes the cat yet; he is kinda scared of her. Roger is an escape artist and needs a securely fenced yard. For mor information about him, contact Danielle at danielle.whaley@ok.usda.gov or call her at 580-336-7851.

Roger's adoption donation is $150.

Bert

Bert is a wonderful senior boy, about 9-10 years old. He is very sweet, laid back, and patient with the other dogs in his foster home. He was previously adopted but had to come back to OMBR because his family moved, he couldn't stay in the house, and they didn't have time for him. He was found a couple of years ago with his buddy Ernie, wandering the streets of Oklahoma City.

He has a beautiful voice, huge feet, and likes older kids, 8-10 years old or older, and has displayed food aggression in the past, so he needs to be fed away from other dogs. He's neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and heartworm negative. For more information about this precious boy, contact his foster home by email at: james@ombr.org or by phone at: 918-607-9384

Bert's adoption donation will be $100.
